Staff
Sydney Functions Catering only provides staff when the food cateriing is booked with our company.
The Sydney Functions Catering staff are well groomed and attired in uniform. Our staff are friendly yet professional and well trained for the job.
When you choose to have a "Staffed" event, we can provide you with the number of staff required to do a job well and with relevant qualifications. Staff numbers may vary depending on your menu selected and the number of guests booked. For a standard party, we recommend one chef for up to 50 guests and one wait person for each additional 50 guests.
Additional staff, however, may be required for instances such as when you are using real crockery, cutlery and glasses, or for a plated meal which may be for an alternate drop service. You may also have a need for a bar waiter. Please note that an RSA qualified wait staff, often termed "bar staff" are not necessarily qualified to be "Cocktail" staff.
Cost of staff provided by Sydney Functions catering are as follows:

Event Planning Rates
While we're happy to facilitate additional event requirements, for events that require us to view the event location or be involved in detailed planning, additional fees apply.
- Event Management Call Out/ Meeting Fee (within 25km of Sydney CBD)............$50.00 per call out*
- Event Manager....................................................................................................$65 ph
Please note: for call outs/meetings outside of the 25km Sydney CBD, an additional surcharge applies. This will vary depending on the location and travel time involved.
